The 2nd tooth has arrived

The second tooth arrived today! I can't wait until they both come in a little more. I love little babies with 2 little bottom teeth. I will attempt to get a picture soon, but due to his irritability from teething, I won't disturb them quite yet.

Jaxon has grown so much in the past 5 and a half months. Here is a pic before he ate his carrots. He was excited to start eating. At first he wasn't the biggest fan of carrots, but now he is opening his mouth well in advance to show me he is ready for more!
Before he started eating, he had to show me how big he is now that he has 2 teeth.
The poor guy had to be woken up for his well needed bath and wasn't happy at first.
After a few kicks, he had a good time!
Wrigley will be applying for a job at State Farm tomorrow. Forget the Good Neighbear, hello Good Neighdog! Wrigley does like to help people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected and realize their dreams so he will fit right in :) Please note, this mission statement does not apply to the Kool-Aid guy. Wrigley seems to have developed a strong disliking of that guy. Hopefully these commercials won't run too long on TV!

5 months old

Jax is now 5 months old and growing everyday. Along with growing and teething comes fussy nights. Grandpa Noel picked up a screaming baby this afternoon. After some Tylenol, he settled down and Aunt K came over. While she was feeding him, Jax threw up all over her. Poor Jax and Aunt K! After a bath, he was feeling a bit better, but dosed off quickly and called it a night.

Last night Jaxon was very excited when his daddy got home! I had to get a picture of this:

The 1st tooth has finally arrived!

After teething for months, Jaxon finally had his first tooth break through! Tuesday night I was getting Jax ready for bed and thought I saw something white in his mouth. Sure enough, there was a tooth poking out! The poor little guy has been a bit uncomfortable this week with the teething. It didn't help that he hates cereal and we force it on him every night. Tonight we started with bananas and it was a huge success! I have included a few pics below.
As for a few stats...Jaxon is 25.5 inches long and 14 pounds 12.5 ounces. He is growing so fast. He is in the 50th percentile for height and 30th for weight. While some have commented on the size of his head, it is actually only in the 30th percentile :)

Open mouth, insert foot...

Over the past few weeks, Jaxon has been spending his time sucking on his toes...I'm not a fan, but it is too cute so I had to get some pics this morning...

He is holding his foot against his face in this one...

Who can say no to this adorable face??

Best Friends

Wrigley and Jaxon love to play together. Jaxon likes to laugh at Wrigley playing and Wrigley likes to give Jaxon kisses. They were destined to be brothers!

Wisconsin Dells - Part 2

Here are some more pictures from Wisconsin Dells...Thanks Grandpa!
This was the kids play room. It was meant to be a bedroom, but the girls can't be trusted yet!
Reese is always playing with Jaxon and his toys. In this picture she is killing time before heading to the pool.

Grandma Davis' Birthday Celebration

Tonight we celebrated Ryan's mom's birthday at Texas Roadhouse. After spending the day with Aunt K, Jax was in a great mood. We took a few pictures of the festivities:

Right before we got our food Jaxon started fussing and didn't stop until we left. I felt so bad for the poor little guy. I think he was just tired because he fell asleep as soon as we got in the car. Once we were back this kid woke up and started smiling! He is pulling stunts like this more and more! While he was in a good mood, we got a few shots with our little guy.
