We wanted to share a video of Jax and Wriggs playing. Jaxon get so excited when Wrigley comes around and loves to play with his toys. When Wrigley sees that we don't want to play, he takes his toys to Jax to play. It is fun to watch!

10 Months Old
It seems like Jaxon has changed a lot in the past month. Each day we realize Jax is less and less a baby. In between crawling around, he will sit up by himself and pull himself up on anything. He is now able to move around in front of the couch while holding on. I can see that standing by himself and those 1st few steps are coming soon!
At his 9 month check up that was actually after he turned 10 months old, Jax weighed 20 pounds and was 29 inches. His weight is in the 30th percentile, but his height is in the 58th percentile. I was so excited...could he be taking after his Daddy???
Over the last week or so we began introducing the 3rd stage of Gerber foods. Jax is not a fan. I think it is the texture. Who wouldn't like spaghetti and meatballs or turkey and rice? He gets this terrible look on his face and won't open his mouth anymore. It is so funny to watch. Since he isn't that into the Gerber food, we have started letting daycare feed him off of their menu. It is so different to watch him eating our food! I guess now I will start having to fix actual dinners that we can share with Jax. We'll see how it goes...with Ryan's picky ways, I lose my motivation to cook quickly. Our meals always contain hamburger or cheese. Hopefully Jaxon will be more adventurous than Ryan.
Saturday morning fun...

Pulling Up
Before Christmas Jax started pulling himself up. As you can imagine, it is in full force less than a month later. We lowered his crib, but it didn't take long before he started pulling himself up in there again. Each morning, Ryan finds Jaxon standing there waiting to begin his day. As for everywhere else, he will use anything or anyone to help him get up. If Jax is in bed with Ryan, he enjoys using Daddy as a jungle gym to stand up. If it is the living room, it is the couch, toys, pillows...you name it and he can use it to stand up!
(Don't mind the stack of clothes in the background of this picture. Mommy and Bebe had a busy day of shopping. Jax came out with a ton of clothes!)
Here is a typical Jax face. So serious at times!

This is the toy that will cause me the most concern. It is the busy ball toy that Aunt Jessica got Jax for Christmas. He pulls himself up on this a lot. My concern is that I have seen him start to climb on it twice! I don't mind the standing, but when he gets that leg pulled up looking for a place to put it to climb over, I get so nervous. Last night, he threw a ball over it and started climbing over to go get it. This kid has no fear!

My random story to share took place Tuesday night. I was getting Jaxon's bag ready so we could go see Daddy's basketball game while Jax played in the living room. I come back in to find Jaxon standing as far away from the love seat as he could while still holding on. The strange part...his shirt was half off. I don't know what took place and I'm not sure I want to know. I'm not ready for a shirtless baby that stands on his own!
