Worn out

The other day Jaxon was up most of the day and didn't feel like taking a nap. Given his crankiness, I had hoped snack time would help him feel better, so I gave him some treats while I fixed dinner. As I was cooking, I looked over to find this...

He slept here the whole time I cooked. What a tired boy!

Morning at the Zoo

I took off work Friday to spend some time with Jax and we headed to the zoo with some friends in the morning. It was a bit chilly when we got there, but it ended up being a perfect day with a little wind. I wasn't sure if Jax would care about the animals, but he definitely would watch them once I pointed them out. He also loved watching the people :)

I was excited to see the new Africa exhibit at the Peoria Zoo and it did not disappoint! As you can see, someone else enjoyed it too!Mommy and Jaxi having a great time!

Jaxon took about a 20 minute nap in the afternoon. I knew this wasn't enough, but the windows were open and I think noises kept waking him up. When we were at Walmart later in the day, Jaxon fell asleep in the cart sitting up. Ryan ended up carrying him through Walmart asleep on his shoulder. It was so cute. What a great day!
