Hello to Jamaica

Jax was all decked out in his Jamaica shirt so he wanted to send some pictures to Aunt Erin. Enjoy!
Jax also wanted to type a message to Erin:

vb jjuyh juyyjjujuucccccccccj

Translated, I think that means "I love you Aunt Ern"
We miss you!

Introducing Colton Michael Leman

Weighing in at 7 pounds 8 ounces and 19 1/2 inches long....Colt Leman! Uncle Adam and Aunt Kristen welcomed their new bundle of joy yesterday afternoon. We thought we were going to have to wait until her due date on the 19th, but lucky for us Colt decided to come on the 14th. I got the first text early in the morning that Kristen was in labor and started acting like a crazy person. I was on my way to work and once I got there, I had to tell everyone, I was so excited. I got a little bit of work done, but not much so I left early to go get Jax so we could be ready for the call that my first nephew is here. I got the news right after I picked up Jaxon. Jaxon seemed excited too, he laughed the whole way home! Enough about me, here is my new nephew!
I don't think Jaxon realized this was a real baby. He didn't pay much attention to him, but I think he figured out that we wanted them to be friends so he rested his head on Colt. Once Colt made a noise, Jaxon had to re-evaluate what was happening. I think he figured out this was a real baby!
Those Davis' sure do know how to make cute babies!
Aunt Cole and her first nephew!

I had to get pictures of this hair...so much and so handsome :)
Welcome to our family Colt!

Jaxon's Personal Jungle Gym

Jaxon loves to crawl around underneath the kitchen chairs. We were also able to capture him waving to daddy. Enjoy!

Mother's Day 2010

Mother's Day got off to a great start with Jaxon sleeping in until 8! I was so excited to wake up to daddy and Jaxon coming in to the bedroom with lots of presents! I loved my homemade hand print from Jax and a new Flip camera from Ryan! After church, we headed over to see Bebe for Mother's Day.

The Jacob family celebrating Seth's work. We are all so proud!
Jaxon even got to play a little. He particularly liked sticking his white socks in the dirt...
We finished the evening up with dinner at Monicals with Grandma Davis. What a great day!

Get out of my bed!

I was finally able to capture the battle of Jaxon and Wrigley for Wrigley's bed. The pictures can speak for themselves...

By the end, Wrigley was just exhausted and wanted to get some rest!

Lori & Dave's Wedding

Last weekend, my cousin Lori got married. Before the wedding, Jax was excited to get all dressed up...ok, maybe he didn't care, but I was excited!
Jaxon got a little squirmy during the wedding, but Ryan was nice enough to take him to the nursery and he had a great time. Once we got to the reception, you could tell Jaxon was tired, but what a trooper...he was a perfect angel and stayed up until 10! We stayed the night in Bloomington and Jaxon let us sleep in until 8 am.
Jax, Daddy & Mommy partying late...
What a great weekend! Congrats to Lori & Dave!

Oh tupperware, the best toy ever?

Jaxon loves our kitchen cabinets and loves to clear things out so he can sit in them. Most of the time, there is something he shouldn't be playing with in cabinet, but this morning he found some things he could play with...tupperware! I didn't know this would be so much fun, but I know I really appreciated it after I organized the tupperware last week. Oh well, have fun Jaxi!

Walking machine...almost

Jaxon is up to about 5 or 6 steps on his own! After his birthday he started taking a step or two, but once he realized he was walking, he would fall down. Each day he gets more and more confidence. We hope to post pictures soon!
